you all are disgusting and it is clear that suicide has not touched your own lives either by a friend or a loved one. My brother almost died from swallowing too many pills. Suicide is no joke, and often these are the type of comments that make that decision to kill oneself even easier.

Of course he was being selfish. Doesn't mean that there were not many, many, many other factors and mental issues that were going on that he didn't have complete control over in addition to his addiction and depression. There is never one point blank answer why someone wants to take his or her own life, but rather a multitude of complex issues and situations often out of the person's control. Yes he is a really nice guy with a lot of problems, mistakes, and regrets. Still doesn't mean that we have the right to make ignorant, harsh blanket judgments in general. But clearly I guess I missed the point to the website and its brutal “lack of remorse.” Still sounds disgusting to me…
