    you all are disgusting and it is clear that suicide has not touched your own lives either by a friend or a loved one. My brother almost died from swallowing too many pills. Suicide is no joke, and often these are the type of comments that make that decision to kill oneself even easier.

        Of course he was being selfish. Doesn’t mean that there were not many, many, many other factors and mental issues that were going on that he didn’t have complete control over in addition to his addiction and depression. There is never one point blank answer why someone wants to take his or her own life, but rather a multitude of complex issues and situations often out of the person’s control. Yes he is a really nice guy with a lot of problems, mistakes, and regrets. Still doesn’t mean that we have the right to make ignorant, harsh blanket judgments in general. But clearly I guess I missed the point to the website and its brutal “lack of remorse.” Still sounds disgusting to me…

          Liz, if you were being serious, you probably want to head to another site. You probably won’t get much sympathy here either. My husband killed himself years ago, so I understand a person’s pain. However, if you aren’t able to have a sense of humor, then you will not be able to make it through any real tragedy if it actually ever happens.

      my brother in law’s (my little sister’s husband) brother did in a horrible way, had 3 children but always told everyone he wanted to die. his own mom found him that morning. this all happened in august. i feel sorry for the family but what he did was very selfish and wrong. it angers me that his children will now have to be w/o a dad and grow up knowing what he did. don’t get self righteous you are not the only one who has been though this shit. i have tried twice and finally had my eyes open years before this shit when my hubbie came into my life.

    Maybe you should try something that would really kill you next time. We don’t need loosers who can’t even kill themselves the right way.
    I still don’t get why people choose pills to suicide, their survival rate is way too high and you can never know for sure your own lethal dose. Jumping off the building is still the best choice :D
