    No, he's right, monkeys cannot give birth to humans, ever, under any circumstances, and this is not what evolution argues. Once again, evolution says that we share a common ancestor with apes about 5-7 million years ago. And yes, we do have the math to back it up, we can measure what species are evolving, in which genes, and at what rate. Its called teh Hardy-Weinberg equation. This is a good start http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution. Of course, you may hae trouble with this one if you cannot spell monkey.

    No, it shouldn't that is just not what evolution is. Evolution is only common sense if you have some level of nuance in your understanding of the natural sciences (judging from your choice not to consult a spell-check program, I would conclude that you are not one to push yourself toward a greater understanding of our universe).

    You cannot try to create a rational argument against something if you refuse to learn what it is. Allow me to submit to you my equivalent argument against Christianity based on the very logic that you used (a fundamental misunderstanding of the concept):

    I do not believe in the Bible because according to the Bible and the word of Jesus clearly state that true believers will be 9-10 feet tall and eat their own children. Of the world's 1 billion or more Christians I ask you to find me a significant number of Christians, say, 500 million, who eat their own children. You see, the numbers just don't add up!

If they are… they've obviously no understanding of what is accepted as Darwinian evolution. Darwin definitely did not believe a monkey could give birth to a human. Also… saying that the chances of evolution being true are 50% just because there either 1)was evolution or 2) was not is like saying that the chances of rolling a 1 on a dice is 50% since it is either 1 or it is not. I claim like 12 fallacies in this.

    Now I don't believe in evolution at all, and I happen to be a Christian. But hey, if you refuse to believe what I do, I'm not going to force my beliefs on you. But back to my point.

    Before you start a rather large intellectual debate on mathematics and science… you should probably study a dictionary.

    And another thing. No creation theory is “logical”. Because we are human and have to base everything we know on the laws of science (energy and matter cannot be created, nor can it be destroyed), neither the big bang theory, or the divine creator come off as “logical”.

    Well…… Technically you could say there were logical. If you take into account multiple universes then as one universe collapses another is created which solves the problem of energy/matter being created, it just came from somewhere else. And if you assume there is a god, then this god created the universe and has every right to defy the laws of physics…. :) Lol, I know what you mean though :P

    Alright, if we take the properties of religion vs no religion, its 1:1 odds, or 50% chance.

    So, if religion is true, we'd expect to see all humans being born from god.

    Now, we know that approximately 216,000 babies are born each day. If each babie is in god's womb for about 9 months, that's approximately 58,320,000 babies in god's womb at any given point in time.

    And yet, all we see is babies coming out of women.

    So, what we expected to be in god's womb, only happens in women. And common sense tells us that man is created in the image of god, and women in the image of mans rib cage, so god must have a penis, and no womb.

    I challenge any christian here to find me a legitimate, non-photo-shopped picture of god's womb with one babie in it. Let alone 58,320,000 of them.
